This event celebrates thoroughbred racing’s past, present and future at the historic in a dual-code meeting to give fans a taste of Grass Trotting at Deagon Racecourse.
Guests can soak up the atmosphere trackside, bring a picnic kit (general admissions), enjoy live music and activities in between races.
There’s a full 10 race card program with seven thoroughbred races and three trotting races, which will be screened on SKY Channel with full TAB status.

Experience the excitement of horses thundering past from just meters away as you sip on sparkling in this trackside marquee. The Deagon Dining Marquee is located infield with a birds eye view of all the action. The dining marquee is perfect for groups who have smaller numbers but still want a corporate experience.
Round table of 10 are available. Booking for fewer numbers will share.

Getting to the Track
The fastest and easiest way to get to the races is by public transport. Visit www.translink.com.au for full transport information and timetables
Catch the train by taking the Cleveland via Brisbane City to Shorncliffe line from Central Station. Deagon Station is five minutes away from the racecourse by foot.
Catch route 315 or 310 from Queen Street, City to Deagon Racecourse.

Shuttle buses on Race Day will run continuously between:

– The Sandgate Courthouse – Keogh Street
– Sandgate Train Station
Taxis are available from Deagon racecourse at the conclusion of the event.
There will be public parking available on the fields adjacent to the Sandgate PCYC which is located next to the Deagon Race Track. Entry to the car park will be via The Sandgate PCYC in Kempster Street. It is a paid parking facility $5 with volunteers collecting the money for the PCYC Sandgate.
