Under the Masterplan this land was zoned open space. In 2016 the Club went to the market to find a childcare operator. After a long process to find the best operator and significant interest from the market, Ascot Childcare and Kindy were nominated as the successful candidate. The Club constructed the childcare facility and entered into a lease with Ascot Childcare and Kindy. The facility opened on March 2017.
The childcare centre services the Ascot, Hamilton, Clayfield and Hendra suburbs and it caters for 110 children each day between the ages of 0 and 5 years. There is also a qualified chef onsite to provide nutritious meals to the children.
