If you’re hungry for horror flicks this Halloween, we double dare you to head to Big Screen On The Green for the most bone chilling event in all of Brisbane!

Featuring The Shining on the biggest screen in the Southern Hemisphere, there’s no escaping this thriller once you’re there! The atmosphere will be tense and unnerving, as you watch on from your picnic rug surrounded by a pitch black field and the looming grandstands of Eagle Farm Racecourse.

And if that isn’t enough to give you the heebie jeebies, then we must warn you to exercise caution as it is rumoured that a plagued spirit haunts the grounds after dark. Perhaps on this night you will spot his silhouette watching, waiting…

About The Movie: 

The Shining centers on the life of Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson), an aspiring writer and recovering alcoholic who accepts a position as the off-season caretaker of the historic Overlook Hotel in the Colorado Rockies. His family accompanies him on this job, including his young son Danny, who possesses "the shining", an array of psychic abilities that allow Danny to see the hotel's horrific past. Soon, after a winter storm leaves them snowbound, the supernatural forces inhabiting the hotel influence Jack's sanity, leaving his wife and son in incredible danger.
