BRC CEO Tony Partridge Steps Down from the role after 5 years

17 july 2024

BRC CEO Tony Partridge has this week tendered his resignation and will finish in the role this Friday. Tony has been dedicated to the BRC for five years and has been instrumental in the change and growth of the organisation.

Tony departs after another successful The Star Stradbroke Season, capping a tenure that has included record operational revenue at the BRC. Tony was driven by his commitment to enhancing the reputation of Brisbane racing and providing the best experience possible for racegoers.

Tony should be proud of his achievements and we all wish him the best in his future endeavours.

The Club will begin a recruitment process immediately, aiming to fill the CEO role later this year. With The Star Stradbroke Season now behind us, we have the time to conduct a thorough recruitment process, enabling us to find the right person to lead the BRC through the next stage of our growth. In the meantime, our Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary David Koch will become Interim CEO. We thank David and our senior leadership team for their commitment at this time.
