Sky Racing Guineas Day
Sky Racing Guineas Day marks the start of the Queensland Racing Carnival and the state's premier thoroughbred racing event, The Star Stradbroke Season.
Join us at Eagle Farm Racecourse for a quality card headlined by two Group 2 contests - the $350,000 Sky Racing Queensland Guineas for three-year olds and the $300,000 weight-for-age Victory Stakes.
The Queensland Guineas has a stellar honour roll, as shown by past winners such as Private Eye (Epsom Handicap winner and placing 2nd and 3rd in successive years in The Everest) and Kolding (three Group 1's, including the Epsom Handicap and Golden Eagle). The Victory Stakes kicks off BRC’s famous sprint series and has an impressive list of winners that includes in recent years local heroes Buffering (two-time winner), Temple of Bloom, and Rothfire.
Choose from a range of hospitality packages and indulge in the elegantly appointed spaces throughout our heritage-listed racecourse. Whether you're looking for lawn platters or fine dining, you'll find it all while you soak up the raceday atmosphere and dynamic track action.
